Alexandra Lopes is a Professor at the Department of Sociology of the University of Porto. She holds a PhD in Social Policy by the London School of Economics for research carried out on the topic of living arrangements of Portuguese elderly people.
She has extensive experience in cross-country comparative analysis in subjects related to the impacts of ageing populations, namely in topics such as income distribution and living conditions, health behaviour and social protection systems.
Iris Marreel, is staff member of the Projektebüros „Dialog der Generationen“ in Berlin, Germany, the national service agency for intergenerational projects with the aim to promote the dialogue across generations, www.generationendialog.de. Key activities: European and International Networking, coordination of two Grundtvig learningpartnerships, “Network of Intergenerational Learing in Europe” (2003-2006) and “Intergenerational Learning in Schools in Europe” (2006-2007)
